So if i order this, and use the 1/8 BPST to the 1/8 NPT threaded one, and screw that into my stock oil sensor location ill be good? What are the downsides to removing the stock oil pressure sensor? Will the car act funny or anything? Im just curious cause im not going to be using the stock oil psi gauge at all.

There is another oil pressure port forward of where the stock sensor is mounted(behind the PS pump) that you might be able to squeeze the stock sensor into.. I'm not sure if there is enough room though as I haven't checked that area.

EDIT: Found the adapter I was talking about. This the one I am using.

Yes but the adapter comes with a couple of plugs. I have one port blocked off.

Sounds good.

Do you know what problems will happen if any if i just simply remove the stock oil pressure sensor and put the aftermarket in its place using an adapter?

your stock gauge will not work.

there is no reason for oil pressure to factor into fuel calculatoins.

as I mentioned, I removed the stock sensor without issue on the stock ECU. If the operation of the oil pressure gauge was vital to fuel calculations, the TCCS would have likely included a code throwing provision alerting the driver of sensor failure.

This allowed me to install the prosport oil pressure sender in the stock location, and the water temp probe where the stock gauge sensor used to be.

The stock sender input isn't used for fuel calculations. It's used for idle speed control trimming. Removing it won't set a code but target idle can vary around 50 rpm under certain conditions. Most people either don't notice or don't care...
