ok i have a couple of aftermarket guages i am installing and unsure how to install them.

1. boost guage- mechanical. i was told to t it into where the wastegate vacuum is and doesnt the 1jz have separate wastegates for each turbo? if so which wastegate would I tap into or does it matter.

2. oil pressure guage- mechanical. im not sure where to tap this into.

3. tach with shift light. where should i put the signal wire? i was told on a red wire with a black stripe on the igniter plug. and on the shift light does it matter which way the wires are hooked up. mine both look the same and the directions were no help.

4. narrow band a/f guage. which wire on the o2 sensor should this be hooked up to.

sorry but im kinda a newbie at this whole guage thing and i would rather know what i am doing than screwing stuff up. any help is greatly appreciated.

1 wastegate 2 actuators.

oil pressure guage? start at the oem oil pressure sender behind the A/C compressor. t it off with a fitting that works!

/4 it wont matter, they all suck the same.

sorry beer + me = bad answers

for the boost gauge, i t'd it off to a vacuum line on the intake manifold by the isc, for oil pressure, i'd get an oil fiter sandwich adapter and tap it there. hope this helps

No, there are definitely two wastegates.

i was thinking of the 2jz twin setup, where one turbo is on first etc:biglaugh:
