ok i dont kno if i have posted about this problem in the past but my take has cracked for the 3rd time and im trying to figure out the best fix that will fis it for goor with out blowing 700+ in cash does any1 kno if there is a fuel cell design that can b mounted to the gas tank location and used as a normal tank?

the tank i have in the car now is a used one and i have a machiene shop that could build a custom fuel tanke for me i just need the demensions

It's not too hard to figure out how many gallons you have. Then draw a cube using simple math to hold the same amount. Then give the machine shop your pretty picture. Also the fuel level sender unit and pump hanger has to fit, assuming you would use your stock pieces.

You also will want a baffle system inside the tank to help keep fuel near the pump pickup.

I found a MINT tank locally for $50..

I stripped it and re-coated it. Looks better than new.
