I just put my supra on the road and as I was driving my gas pedal fell off. I picked up the parts and saw a small rod, of course the pedal and a spring. There looks like there is suppose to be a clip on the rod. Is there? Also, is there a diagram or explination on how to put it back on? I thought it would be simple with the 3 pieces but there is a combination of ways the spring can go. Anyone have an idea or know?

hey man i just replaced my gas pedal...... Did your pedal actually fall off from where it is supposed to be tightened down by those 2 bolts or did the weld come undone???? Either way that is fuckin weird..... Anyhow that cable has to go in a small ....clip i guess you would call it and from there you would just bolt on the pedal itself to the frame....

I bet it helps that I took mine apart to clean it, but it was real easy to put it back together.
Keep experimenting with the spring, it only goes on one way.
I believe there's supposed to be an "E" clip on the other end of the rod passing through to keep it all together.
If you can't get it to work or something's broken, I've got a few of them. I can stand to lose one of them. PM me if you want it.

Yeah the plastic pedal you press to push the metal pedal fell of mine too, a bitch to put it back on, I was ashamed at toyota with such a flumsy pedal, I have drivent it pressing the metal pedal with out the plastic pedal

Weird. I don't have a gas pedal. Never have. When I bought the car, I never noticed it not being there...have owned the car since October '05 and I still don't have one on there. I guess I just have big feet because it doesn't bother me any.

hahah duct tape it that was and probally is on the list the government issued for every house hold to have.. also i number one fix for rust around here and holding bumpers on!
