gapping champion race plugs

recently bought some champion race plugs from the states and they are unlike any other plug ive seen/used before

they pretty much look like this

where the ground electrode is angled and doesnt actually reach the center electrode

cant remember the model of the plug off the top of my head

unsure how i go about gapping them of if i even should.

wanted to get down to about .7mm as it will be on a boosted motor and dont want spark blowing out

looking at them I would think you will have a hard time gapping them unless there is a special tool.

actually pulsesparks are the shit but I will not pay 150 for a set of plugs no matter how the shit they may be, I ran denso iridiums before,m hated them then I got NGK's and havent looked back

No, not because they're cheap. That's just an added bonus. I would definately pay more for them, but they dont' cost more. I've tried the $45.00 Irridiums and although my car idle'd better, it ran like shit where it counted. I keep about twenty BKR7E's on hand. I change them more often than most people but only because they're cheap. I've never taken one out and had it look fubar'd.

LOL you didn't specify per plug

In a road car I'd be concerned with them fouling and bridging.

has anyone actually used these plugs who can give feedback on them?

just run a set on friday at a drift practice - cant say i really noticed any diff

You're breakin' my heart Ian. Aviation iridiums are $74 each and there's two per cylinder. That's $900 in plugs for a six banger. Champions of course

I used generic replacement Champions before and the ceramic around the electrode broke in 3 of the 6 after barely any use. A switch to NGK fixed all related problems

I think if there were better plugs out there that were more expensive, MkIV guys would use them
