skip the iridiums as they're a waste of cash, a bitch to gap (you're not actually supposed to gap them), and can cause issues (glow plug effect, someone had the tiny electrode break off and cause damage...)

um, u dont need to gap iridium plugs. iridium is already pre-gap to what you need. theres a thread somewhere here tho to help you find the one you need

copper plugs is recommended to change every 5-6000 miles or something so don't worry about that, they are much cheaper, gap them to 0,8mm

change em every oil change is the easy way, but personally I hate running coppers cause I'm lazy and don't like changing plugs...

Its best for our type cars to use copper plugs. This is because the copper conducts heat better than other types of plugs. Having a boosted car produces higher temps, so you want the heat to dissipate as quick as possible, thus using copper makes sense, and works best.
But there is a down side. Copper is soft and corrodes more quickly than platinum or iridium. So you have to change the plugs a bit more often. I usually change the plugs every other oil change. (6-8k miles)

For your performance levels, the NGK BK7R #6097 (now #4644) should be fine, gap should be no more than .028

Hope this helped.

OK, I will state right off that I'm not a plug expert. My JDM engine had a set of Denso Iridium's in it when I got it almost four years ago. They were in good shape, and since I had not heard anything bad about Iridium plugs I decided to use them. I never had a sparkplug issue in the almost 60,000 miles I put on the engine before the dreaded BHG. After I did the rebuild, I took a good look at my plugs, and they were in fine condition. I cleaned them, regapped them, and they are in the car, running perfectly right now. Again, I'm no expert, but based on this experience I would have to say that Iridium's are not that bad.

Okay so i have to Gap the copper plugs at 0,8mm .....is this true for all cooper plugs ? cuz i wanted to go with NGk plugs

IT seems everyone is leaning towards the Cooper plugs!!:icon_bigg. im guessing NGK are the best ones for my buck:sarcasm:! I looked at NologyWires, why are they so expensive?:nono: I notice that some spark plugs wires are thicker then others. Whats the truth behind bigger spark plugs wires ???:nono:

^ the resistance of the wires is why you buy "better" ones. Test yours out first. And a bit of searching would have answered everything you've asked for future reference.

I run coppers gapped to .028 (NGKBCRE7's IIRC). I change them every six months. I take that as a good time for a compression test as well to see how things are holding up.

I run the copper ngk plugs too. And 8.5mm msd wires. They seem to work the best for me. I've had my troubles with iridium plugs they aren't worth the hassle.

Wow Great Info Fellas im am very greatful for all the information! :icon_bigg

ima go with the NGk cooper and gap at 0.28 and add the 8.5 mm wires
it would be a good idea to get a compression test while there out
