no it hasn't tried to bite me...I never use my hands while moveing the snake...I have snake handleing equipment...and no you can't touch it LOL

Garter snakes really do smell bad, cottonmouths smell even worse, cobras smell like wet dog when they she'd...but my gaboon only smells when she shits LOL

Snakes have musk glands at the base of there tails near the vent (ass)...most colubrids like corn snakes, king snakes, garters etc use this musk alot...pythons and boas its very rare accept scrub pythons....venomous its hit or miss but most have an odor bit gaboons are the few that don't.

hognose snakes smell like shit and play dead when attacked, so the predator leaves them alone...

Yes yes they do....hognose snake are pimp....did you know they are actually venomous LOL...it won't hurt humans but they do have fangs in the back of their mouth and also have venom glands but the venom has only caused swelling in most cases.

yeah, they're rear-fanged like the mambas, but those will fuck you up...

I love snakes .I used to volunteer at a meusem when i was younger and worked with all the animals, the snakes were my fav..
..but i dont want to get bitten and die a painful death..Or wake up with a snake around my neck getting strangled to death... Plus it would probably eat our cats and my birds.

snakes get used to certain foods in captivity...ive never had a snake strike at the family cat and ive seen many dogs and cats get face To face with large constrictors and the snakes just ignore them...but the moment you toss a rat or rabbit in front of them watch the fuck out LOL...

I don't recomend letting them near family pets but its never been an issue for me and or any of my reptile geek friends.... My friends cat sleeps on top of the snake cages LOL.

Gaboons have a killer pattern but rhino vipers (related to gaboons) have real trippy patterns..google them...its pretty intense!

Black/green mambas are front fanged....boomslangs, coral snakes, and a bunch more are rear fanged

I think my next snake to add to my collection is a king cobra...love those snakes but they can be hard to convert to rats...they usually only eat other snakes but they can be converted sometimes.

Gorgeous snake, glad I finally got to see a pic of her after hearing about her!

I still hold my hopes for getting an eyelash viper, just not right now. Most likely go with the gold phase, but I'll take what I can get. :)
