Question: I just purchased a set of PS Rotors for my 89 Supra turbo. I have been doing some reading and your install sheet suggests Hawk pads. I am having a hard time finding those. I have never used slotted rotors and would like to know if your shop has tested the slotted rotors with EBC Green or Red pads? I have also considered Axxis pads as well.

Answer: Hello Matt,

Unfortunately, Hawk does not make a brake pad for your 89 Supra and Power Slot does not recommend the use of Kevlar/Aramid or Ceramic type brake pads for High Performance usage.
I will highly recommend the Axxis Metal Master/XBG formulation brake pads for great braking performance and these pads would be a stellar choice.

That's true Tase.. My concern here is that several of the vendors are selling powerslot rotors and offering Axxis Ultimate pads. The Ultimate pads are not the same material as the metal masters and are not what "Powerslot" recommends.
