It's interesting how your local Toyota dealer stocks Supra parts....

He had to special order the supra parts.

Jordan there's this place on my side of town Ajo/ Country club and they can make you custom lines and I believe they carry AN fittings.

I probably missed it but did you assemble the motor or did the machine shop do it? You plan on retorquing?

Machine shop did oil pan to torquing down the head.

ARP Headstuds were torqed to 80ft lbs by them because that's what the arp booklet said.

If you guys think a retorq is needed then ill do it. But I've read so many mixed opinions on this subject

Some don't, some do.

Ian told me he does and the hardest part about doing a retorque it is pulling it apart to actually do the retorque. 80 ft/lbs is correct.

7M's are easy, just turn the cam but JZ need to have the cams removed.

Some build, break in hard on the dyno and then lay down 1000WHP without a retorque on the studs, I don't have enough balls to do that.

Lastly, that machine shop, they have worked on JZ motors before, correct?

Ok ill do the retorqe I did it on my 7m every time.

It's the machine shops first 1jz but they have done quite a few 2jz's and 7m's they come very highly recommend around here.

1000whp shucks I was hoping for 550-600whp lol. But yeah I see what your saying

I have too switch out my cams anyhow when my 264's get here.

I also switched to a T4 housing if you missed that :)
