I have a few funny/interesting stories:

1 - (Interesting story) - My Supe was stolen, and the cops found her 3 weeks later... She wasn't running, rims and tyres were gone, but the nice people that took them replaced them with really expensive 12 slotters - she looked quite tough with them on!

2 - Bf got her running 9 months after I got her back... He called me up so I culd hear her roar to life, and I was so excited I ran outside without my keys and locked myself out of my apartment... Had to get a family friend to come with a ladder and help me break in.

3 - Doing some work to the car (installing the new guages i think), and we went to start her up... Nothing happened... Tried a few more times, then the bf realised the ecu wasn't plugged in...

Now those are good supra stories

I have a lot of friends who drive hondas.. this was about 3 years ago when I was new to the supra game. I was installing my FMIC on my 7M with a hardpipe kit. The front of the car was on jackstands. My friend starts to push my front passenger side tire; as it spins he says "is your car in gear?" LOL

I was taking my friend out for a drive in the newly 1jz swapped car, and he said "I think there's something wrong with your car, it makes a whoosh noise when you shift." He was serious too.

My GF and sister said that too lol

The night I bought the car, I was making a turn at a stop light, following my uncle through rural Alabama to his house (to work on it :3d_frown: lol). I come around the turn in first, I'm at about 2500 RPMs and almost done with the turn and I floor it. Immediately had no traction and the rear end was going all over the place, but my foot didn't come up (other than maybe half a second to shift) until I was right on my uncle's bumper and had to slow down fast. Happiest night of my life.

I was about to race a Z28, and a friend (in a Civic:3d_frown:) wanted to race first. I said fine, honk. I was in 5th gear, about 40MPH, and I left him like he put it in park lol

The Z28 race was pretty good too, he had his GF in the car and everything... I put about a semi on him. 2nd gear, brake boosting, 50 roll:evil2:

I figured I'd add this too, because a Supra is just a Probe with a body kit right? Anyway, I was coming home from the movies in my mom's Avalon and some riced out Probe (mismatched, different colors of PRIMER body kit NAILED to the car, useless A pillar gauges, fart can bigger than the average Supras ) comes up next to me and looks over like he wants to race. I'm like wtf, whatever, gas. We didn't honk or anything, both just kinda went at the same time... I beat him almost as bad as I beat the Civic in my Supra lol. We did a 55 roll after that with him honking, same thing, then from a dig at a stoplight. I destroyed him every time

Here's another funny story. I raced a last gen Celica GTS up to the merge lane from a stop and lost. I was still stock 7m at the time.

Come to think of it, I have lost every race I have ever been in.

1) Stock 7m - old ass Talon - got walked on
2) Stock 7m - last gen Celica - got walked on
3) 7m w/ intake/exhaust - cop car - from previous post in this thread, had 1/8 mile on him but then he cheated by flipping on his lights so I had to stop :(
4) Single turbo 1JZ - another mk3 - got slowly walked up to 180km/h

I should just quit now - I'd say quit while ahead, but I don't even have a lead. hahaha

A friend of mine called my other friend who is a mechanic, she asks him,"What's wrong with my car? Its whistling pretty loud." It was a volvo. My other friend thought something might be wrong. He got in the car, noticed the turbo emblem and started laughing before she could show him the "problem"
