how much power will 2 walbro 255lph pumps support? the lines and whatnot wont be the issue. i was just worried about the pumps. i already have the 2nd walbro.

I have 2 of the single brackets for my 044's there nice brakets but there still loud as hell. Needs to be mounted on a rubber insulator or somthing to quiet them down,

I have a MKIV Denso feeding a 044 and am having massive pressure drop at 460whp and 13psi. I do not have a surge tanks though only the stock MKIII filter to the 044 so maybe the stock filter is my bottle neck.

^^ My setup is similar to yours and I have no problem with the pressure dropping. I find that strange that it happens at 13 psi though....

Can you post or PM your exact setup down to the filters and fuel line sizes. I'm pulling my hair out with a system I know works and has proven to work but will not.

Thanks,

have you tried changing the fuel filter? I know its stupid but its a good place to start.
And if you are still having problems I would install a surge tank between the stock filter and your bosch 044. I am almost done with my setup and will let you know how it turns out.

Or swap out the stock filter for a Bosch MS one as they're nearly the same size but you can use AN fittings and lose the Banjo.

fluid dynamics "a system will only flow as much as the point of greatest restriction"

All filters and brand new, tanks was drained and fuel was clean.

Do you have the Part number for the MS filter? I have a Bosch filter now in the front that I think is a high flow but not sure.

i have a -8 feed from pump to rail and -6 return; will these lines support 650ish whp?

i know my pump (walbro255x1) and stock injectors won't, but if i need to redo my lines now is the time to do it.

I'm thinking I'm gonna go with a large single external pump to support a fuel rail with a single -8 feed and -6 return (if i can find one), and around 850cc injectors

the reason i ask is my injectors seemed to maxed out with the factory twins, and its time to change the fuel system more.

Bosch 0 450 905 003 It's OEM on something sorry can't remember what though.

Thanks IJ, I have Part # 0 450 905 021 in my car. I have ordered the one you posted and will see if that is my problem. last night I dropped the tank and the MKIV pump is fine as well as all the stuff back there. Tested the pump and filter and they both flow a lot of fuel.

We bypassed the 044 to try and find the root problem ( I had pressure dropping before at 11psi) and the MKIV pump and filter. We just thought it was the clogged stock filter at the time and did not check to make sure that was it before installing the 044 and stuff. We also rewired the MKIV pump again last night with a better ground and power. Need to roads the dry so we can test it out.

Those lines will easily support 650whp.
