Fuel, Spark and Pulse, Still Not Start.

Hey guys, I have a 7MGTE that I am trying to start. I could not start the engine a few days ago because of the CPS.

I had a CPS wiring problem but I got advice from GC89 because the wires did not match and the car started. A few days later, the samething, the car does not want to start.

Here is what I have:

-Spark.
-Weak Pulse.
-Fuel.
-Tachometer Signal (Needle Moves When Trying To Start The Car.)
-Grounds Are Clean.
-Tried Three ECU's.
-Tried A Different Turbo Pressure Sensor and Igniter.
-Checked Relays.

are you getting fuel... meaning you have jumpered the fuel pump and it runs?

Yes, the pulse looks weak though.

If you were getting all three, the car would run.

You are missing one of them though.

What do you mean by "the pulse looks weak"? O-scoped the signal?

and what was the voltage of the o-scoped signal? wave form? Which outputs did you scope?

Do you have compression? Thats the only other thing you need to run if you have spark and fuel.

This might be a bit obvious, but did you check the ecu fuse?

EFI fuse... does that MIL come on? how does the spark look on the plugs, are they fouled at all? if you crack the fuel line does it shoot fuel out at you when cranking?

Well if i'd have to guess i would recheck the CPS first. that's the thing that was changed last time before start so it would be obvious to start your troubleshooting over there.
