i cant seem to find much on the differences between the fuel system of a GE vs a GTE. Injectors of course but what about the FPR, rail, lines, and pump?

Pump is different, FPR is different on some (depends on year). Fuel pulsation dampener may have changed too.

I thought that the the GTE's had a rising rate FPR whilst the GE's did not?

Also how much different is the pump?

GEs do not have a pulsation dampener (probably why fewer of them have engine fires).
And the part number on my late GE fuel pump is ther same as the turbo.
From everything I have seen the FPRs are identical also.
So that leaves the injectors, the dampener and the fuel rail, as the GE doesn't have a hole for the dampener.

FPR, fuel pump, and injectors. You'll also need the resister for the injectors I believe.

Is this an NA-T or a full GTE swap?

ok for clarification.....

i need the Fuel Pulsation Damper, ............. not the Fuel Pressure Regulator.

ALTHOUGH......i guess its just a diapram with a spring to DAMPEN fuel pressure and is not all that nessasary in the real world

"so without it i would not get constant fuel pressure to each injector??????"

IJ-"That's the idea not sure if it has much effect in reality though
(none here)"

Honestly I'm not sure about the fuel pressure regulator as you said you don't know the what year the engine is from. If it doesn't have a Fuel pulsation dampener then it's going to be a late model and you'll need the fuel pressure regulator as well.
