The Walbro actually doesn't flow quite as well as the TT pump, but it is WAY more efficient. Two walbros flow way better than one TT pump and require less current than one TT pump. If you had a really burley alternator, I'd go with a TT pump, but ours suck, so you're better off with a walbro, way better off with two ;)

my walbro didnt even need zip ties, with the rubber grommet thing (which they provide new with the pump) on the bottom it fit just like the stock pump.

one thing that really bothers me is this:

idk ive heard mixed things. Some have told me the walbro pumps are direct bolt in but then again some have said you ahve to do some cutting welding etc.

im just trying to be a dick, but if you dont know, DONT POST. thats one of the more rediculous things that i have read on here recently. NDBoost, you are only spewing out more misinformative crap to screw otheres up with. again, IF YOU DONT KNOW DONT POST!!

installed the pump on thrusday went in so easy. I didnt drain the tank i just let the gage go below 1/4 tank and that lest me more then plenty when i drove to the gas station. the just took my friends and i about 1 1/2 hours but that only because we were screwing around and ran into some troubles withe the one line fitting(someone already rounded it off) so we just reached around and removed that line direct fron the fuel filter(which i replaced when i did my LSD replacement) all and all i am very happy with the ease of the install and how well the pump works.

thanks for all the help
Aaron

P.S. i did not drill out that peice in the FPR and my AFR gage doesnt read that the car is running much more rich on deacelleration then it did before!!!

Both the Walbro and Mk IV can be used. You have to change the wiring harness on the Walbro. IMO, the fuel pressure curve is superior on the Walbro.

BTW...I have the Walbro installed. Can't hear it at all.

perhaps you should re-wire it using a relay. i've got 14v running to mine. i hear it. :) check the reference section if you're interested.
