So my car won't start after sitting for 1 day. Running fine before, '88 Turbo. It turns over fine and throws no codes. All the fuses seem to be good. I did the B+ to Fp jumper thing per:

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=71

but my B+ is only reading 0.27V...

So I jumped the actual battery terminal to the Fp at the check connector and I heard a buzzing sound, then turned the key to 'on' and heard a whirring sound from the engine compartment, then cranked it...still wont fire.

Is the fuel pump bad?

I'd like to check the fuel relay too, but I can't find it! There's a bunch of relay looking pieces in the driver kick BEC, but no wiring diagram I could find.

Thanxz

wiring diagram is in the tsrm too.

fuel relay is on the passenger fender and the fuel pump doesnt turn on until the motor is actually cranking.

Mine did this about a month ago. Are you sure its not your ignition system? My engine would turn but wouldnt fire up. Went through the whole thing and it ended up just being bad battery connections. Wasnt the cps either. Be sure to check your grounds.

Do you know what your fuel pressure is while you're cranking?

It is possible the rubber line in your gas tank for outgoing fuel from the pump can break. Pump turns on, some gas gets to the rail but not enough for the car to fire up.

I have seen people get no starts because of a severely gunked fuel filter. I know it wouldn't seem like it but it has happened.

When you're cranking do you see your rpm's on the tach move at all? If not could be crank position sensor/ignition issues.

When I crank it, the tac only moves very slightly, like 50 rpm max. What kind of ignition problem does this indicate?

Also, if someone know's where the drawing of all the ground locations is that would be good to check.

I'm gonna buy some starter fluid and spray that boy in the intake, see what's going on here...

That should be fine on the tac while your cranking, long as its moving I believe that means your cps works.

Fixed! Forgot to mention I thought the fuel pump was bad because I got home on E and then let it sit. I walked to the gas station and bought a gallon, and that's when I though I had the fuel pump problem. But....

Sprayed some starter fluid, nothing. Checking for spark at the distributor and when I was checking the 6th plug it started up! Must have been a bad connection there...what a dumb problem...:nono: go figure.
