I bought an external FPR a year ago and now I am working on my engine and I wanna put on the FPR to get higher fuel pressure. How do you guy do it? Do you remove the built in FPR and install a barb fitting, if so what is the side thread that you used? I took the FPR off and went to home depot, orchard etc to see what the thread size it is but no luck.

Tha's a nice setup you got. I guess I should get at least one of the -6AN adapter for the original FPR location so I can run a line to the new external FPR I got then. Do you have to also replace the fuel input line or did you do it because you wanted too?

I got this universial FPRS with a gauge thingy.

All I should be doing is running a line from the original FPR to the new FPR input and output back to original fuel return pipe and make a longer vacum line for the new fpr.

Any advantage to blocking off the ISC?

i replaced all my fuel lines because i wanted to. i have this OCD way of over engineering/over-doing my mods.

all you really need to do is just remove the stock FPR and hardline, convert to the -6an, like the JBLmk3 kit. or you can just pick up the parts as i specified in my thread.

yes, the ISC becomes a boost leak at higher pressure levels. you can either block it off or reroute the feed line to an IC pipe rather than the intake pipe pre-turbo. that way, the pressure on both sides of the ISC will be equalized and no chance of a boost leak.
