^^^ Agreed. Since you pretty much rounded off the nut, go after it with vice grips; and then once you got it apart, you can figure out what you need to do to correctly reinstall the new line.

BTW, if the nut that's rounded is the nut on the hard line, then correctly means:

1. Replace that 6' of hard line with new line.
or
2. Cut the hard line back just a little bit, and pull the rounded nut off the hard line. Get a new nut, and put it on the hard line; then flare the end of the hard line with a flaring tool. When you're done it'll be good as new.

alright well if your gonna pull the motor and this section of line is being a pain, I guess i would suggest taking the top banjo bolt out of that connector on the side of the engine. then unbolt the bracket from the engine so you can leave the bottom banjo bolt connected. Then once you get the engine out and everything you will have more room to fight with this line. But i dont know which of you are actually in the process of pulling the motor.

ok so i got fed up today
got a tube cutter
cut the hard line
and put a compression fitting on there and attached it to the steel braided line
and im all done :]
