to the op, you are going about this situation ALL WRONG. dont go replacing parts that you "think" are wrong.
first off route your wastegate BACK TO NORMAL....go WOT and make sure it is running good. if everything boost fine, boost holds good, i would not worry about your waste gate being the problem at this time.
now please draw us a diagram of how you have your mbc hooked up? i have turbo smart manual boost controller also and it works awesome.
if i were you, i would start off with at least safc and wideband.
