Ok, so im getting fuel cut when ever i install a boost controller (turbo smart MBC) no matter what setting its on.... It will drive fine but on WOT it chokes and liens out....
I was thinking its not getting enough fuel or pressure or maybe my fuel pressure regulater is crap, so im looking into the DM AFPR kit....
Will this kit give me more fuel pressure on my stock injectors or some how aid in my dilemma???
I have a Fat FMIC, 2.5 Hard pipes, NO boost leaks, Straight 3" exhaust from y-pipe to muffler, K&N 5" cone filter, Walbro 255, and i only hit 9lbs!!!!

Please help!!!

PS: the MBC is hooked up properly!!!!

It shouldn't go lean at all, it should go very rich if anything.

I've got the turbosmart boost tee, hard pipes, DM afpr kit, and all the supporting stuff for my aftermarket turbos and running 19psi, I'm still 10.0 afr. Does it break up, or just go lean?

It feels like it jerkes and kuts off... Its very violent!!!
Only at wide open throttle... It goes to like 14lbs fast and cuts out hard!!!
Could it be my wastegates???

Will a Apexi Neo do it for me????
That way i can monitor the A/F ratio!!!!

?? Neo will not monitor A/F ratios. It will let you adjust them, but then of course you need a wideband for your actual monitoring. Even still this will not likely solve your dilema. Although a SAFC can change the fuel cut point by "tricking" the ECU, this is not what it is designed to do, nor should it be used for getting rid of fuel cut problems.

If you are still hitting fuel cut with the MBC wide open, maybe check if there are any pinched lines to the MBC. Or maybe your lines, or Tee's, are too small of diameter and are choking flow that way.
Good Luck!

There is nothing pinched and it is standard size vacuum line... I have no idea what it could be!!!
Everyone says there is something wrong with the way its hooked up or some kind of boost leak, but im telling you either my shit is F*cked up some how or something... But it is Hooked up right and there is no leaks of any kind... My turbos only hit a week 9lbs constantly!!!

A boost leak creats no problem with any MAP tunned JZ engine.
You can disconnect all the turbo air plumbing and still drive the car it just wont boost and you wont have any extra power.

Only vacume lines between the intake & MAP/Wastegate/blowoff will cause engine issues.

The reason your car surges is because the map only haves a spectrum of 1BAR.
Adding a 2BAR GM map & neo will fix it but I wouldnt push this setup past 4-500HP
I would go standalone if you are going past 400-500hp.
So on factory twins I would only goto 1BAR anyway on pump gas.
You will at least need to add 440cc -550cc injectors also.
Then while upgrading the fuel system a regulator is a good idea.

If your car just rushes streight to 14psi then cuts off bad wont allow rpms to goto factory cut your wastgate could be fubar.

If you want to push more then 4-500hp 1 bar ~14psi go single/standalone.

UNTRUE. I daily'd mine for almost a year on 19psi, running it hard every day. This was on stock mkiii pump, stock 370s, stock fpr. The stock injectors are good for whatever you wanna throw at them w/ the stock twins. (btw, my twins didn't blow up either. They were in perfect condition, but the oil seal gave out on the front turbo)

If you put in a walbro and 550s you better make damn sure you've got an afpr so you can turn down the pressure, it WILL run rich enough to drench spark all day long.

I ran 17psi on stock injectors, stock twins, stock pump, stock MAP sensor (with standalone).

I was maxing out the injectors (97% duty cycle!), but it was running strong. I didn't notice any more power from 14-17psi though.

How do you know it's a wastegate issue? I used to have a whole bunch of old CT12As that I could give you some wastegates off of, but a friend has them, and we had a little bit of a falling out. I don't think I'll ever see them again. Put up a want ad in the for sale section. Someone around here is bound to have soem kicking around.
