I have a question in regards to the new injectors I just put in. Before I go any further though, I am not looking for opinions on whether these are the best injectors or not... I know there are a lot of opinions...

I bought the 550cc Siemens Deka 3102 injectors. All the pics I see of them have this type of o ring (below) where the injector sits up against the head, it is a squared edge seal, versus a typical round edge o ring...

But the o rings on the bottom of mine are like this, a typical round o ring.

My obvious concern is whether they will leak, the move freely like they are suppose to, but the o ring does not use up the entire space that it sits in on the head, but do not remember what the stock ones looked like sitting in there, so not sure if that is normal or something to be concerned with...

Thank you for your time checking post and even more thanks if you have some advice to offer :icon_bigg

I would make very sure that the injectors you got are the correct ones for your application. I think that bigger square seal is also an isolator. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I have those exact 3102 injectors. If I remember correctly, they also came with those o-ring type injector insulators. I didn't trust them, so I ordered some OEM ones from Toyota. The squared edges fit a lot nicer... I'd hate to have to tear everything apart if it were to leak because I used a questionable part.

Silly me - I found the seals in my gasket set from the re-build... slipped new ones on and yep fits in real nice with still enough movement to know that both ends are seated nicely...

Thanks again
