i noticed that aeromotive filters and pumps are using ORB adapters, these adapters are also like 13$ each and in my case im going to need 6 of them for my 100 micron filter/a1000 pump/10 micron filter :3d_frown: is there anyone who sells them cheaper?

also im trying to find a Y splitter "-10 to 2x -8" i found a good couple but i was also wondering if a T fitting would work the same, this is the types i see, distribution block

cant even find a -10 to -8 x2 so i wont bother to post it :p

curious to see what one you guys think would flow better, or if it would even effect fuel flow for a dual feed setup.

i also would like to put this in just to see if anyone wants to correct me, im going to run -10 feed that splits to a -8, and so far this is my parts list

fuel tank sump "x2 1/2 bunges"
1/2 NPT to -10 AN straight adapter
-10 hose end adapter
-10 hose
-10 hose end adapter
-10 to ORB -10 fitting
100 micron filter "adapter changes if a different filter is used"
-10 to ORB -10 fitting
-10 hose end adapter
-10 hose
-10 hose end adapter
-10 to ORB -10 Fitting
A1000 Fuel pump
-10 to ORB -10 fitting
-10 hose end adapter
-10 hose
-10 hose end adapter
-10 to ORB -10 fitting
10 micron filter "adapter changes if a different filter is used"
-10 to ORB -10 fitting
-10 hose end adapter
-10 hose
-10 hose end adapter
-10 hose
-10 hose end adapter
-10 to -8 Y adapter
-8 hose x2
-8 to ? x2
high flow fuel rail
-6 to ?
-6 hose end adapter
-6 hose "return"
-6 hose end adapter
-6 to 1/2

the tank is getting a sump welded on, then it will go to the 100 micron pre filter then to the a1000 pump then to the 10 micron filter to a splitter to -8 to do a dual feed setup on the rail. from there its going to return with a -6 line to the FPR and then back to the sump.

the sump has 2 1/2 bunges on it side by side is there any problem with using the 2nd bunge as the return? or should i just tap a hole in the top of the tank for that? also what can i do for blocking off the hole for the stock in-tank pump?

You're pretty much SOL on the o-ring fittings though, gotta pay to play...:)

go to your local industrial hydraulics shop for the o-ring boss fittings. I picked up steel Parker Hydraulics fittings for around $1.50 each (-10 size), and they have almost any size combination you could imagine.

i dun think u would want the return next to the feed, reason being you dont want the feed taking from the return which disturbs the flow but i'm not sure. someone will probably explain why.

you would want the return dumping into the top of the tank to avoid the differential pressure head created by the fuel level. (if the return is flowing into the bottom of the tank, the pressure on the line will be based on the tank level, whereas the pressure is constant if it is flowing in from the top)

ok you see the 2 "outlets" thats what my sump looks like, 2 of them bout that close. the vent i guess you would want to hook a hose to it and have it go outside unless you make it fit under the car and not in your trunk. but you need to use a vent otherwise that tank would probably burst or something because of the pressure

A -10 from tank to a -8 is what you could go with. -8 feed line would be enough to the rear of fuel rail. A -6 return. Will support 900 hp no problem.

No need for a Y fitting. I don't have a pic of my set-u here but could look and get back here.

and also why i am here still, my turbo is only uses oil and no water, so im wondering is it fine to block off the coolant passage for the stock turbo? or should i just use a drift motion bypass

NA cars didn't even have the ports installed on the water outlet, so a block-off shouldn't be an issue. For a cleaner look, source an NA water outlet rear portion.
