If the TCCS reads an air flow meter square wave frequency value equal to a pre programmed value stored in the memory of the TCCS the TCCS will shut off the fuel injector pulse to save the engine from detonation. This is called Hitting the Fuel cut. There is room to spare above this level in the fuel map but the TCCS cuts the fuel at this point to be sure there will be no detonation.

hummm so knowing this is there a way to reflash it or to get around it other than using a completely different air metering device? (ie maft, lex, vpc)
