fuel cut=check engine light

all i did was a slow roll on 4th gear pull, was about 5800 rpm, and hit fuel cut, RRRRRRRRRRRR BAH BAH triggered engine light -____- but only lasted for 3-4 seconds, its never happened before so im wondering what i did haha

has anyone else experienced this?

What boost are you running? What are you using to tune the 550's?

What you are explaining is just normal old fuel cut. Pull codes and see for yourself.

it was the first time i noticed it this, which is strange cuz my eyes are always looking at the cluster, 550ccs, 2jz fpr and stock 1jz ecu.

Speed cut? Are you on a JDM ecu? Pink speed sensor wire still connected to the ECU? 5800RPM in 4th is right where the 118mph speed cut kicks in.

If that's the case you can disconnect the pink wire if you have a supra ECU and it will disable the cut. Soarer ECU's use the speed signal for idle control so some people end up with a low idle if they try that. I did.

thats been done sir, ive gone 145, ive only seen it come on once with fuel cut and it didnt ruin anything so im fine
