Ok, since its getting cooler out my windows have been fogging up alot more than normal. Mainly on the hatch and the small side windows though, its really starting to get on my nerves and Im not sure why its fogging up so bad... maybe the hatch seal or taillight gaskets? what would be the best thing to check before I start replacing things?? thanks

Just get some anti fog shit to put on your windows. I know that the makers of RAIN-X make some sort of anti-fog variation of that kinda stuff.

yup rain-x makes an antifog.. works great.. I also use their rain-x windshield coating stuff.. man simply crazy stuff.. dont ever use my wipers anymore!

Make sure your windows are clean too - don't just put the anti-fog stuff on and hope that fixes the problem.

My 2006 Solara windows fog up much more now than they did a year ago. Why? A nice film has developed on the inside of the windows. This gives the fog someplace to grab on.

ok, my windows are still fogging up....but only when I use the heat, ive put on anti-fog, rain-x, and I sealed the back hatch, window glass, and tail lights with clear RTV sealant. this is really fustrating lol...and other ideas would be great

it is sometimes when I come out of work and the car has been sitting outside (99% of the time its in the garage) but if there is absoleutely no condensation at all and I turn on the heat without turning on the A/C then they will fog up almost every time.

The reason your windows fog up when you first turn on the heat is because the air inside the car is cold, then you apply warm air to it. The same thing happens when a cold front and a warm front meet together (weather)--FOG. If you leave the heat on for a minute it'll go away.

Also be sure to have the air pulled from outside the car. If you're recirculating the moist air inside the car then it will stay foggier longer but as TTL said, the longer you leave the heat on the more it will go away.

Stop having sex in the car? lol my car fogs up only under 1 condition. people in the car while raining. I just turn on the rear de-fog and the heat. i have a leak in the hatch but i dont think that would cause so much fog.

Crack your windows like a centimeter or 2 and turn the heat on full blast.

ok, Ive got it fixed. I feel like a dumbass for how easy it was, but I would rather have it that then something worse, I didnt know that when you turn on the circulation button it ONLY draws air from inside, I thought it would at least bring it some from the outside...on my way to work the windows were perfectly clear plus it probably helps that I resealed the hatch glass, tail lights and side windows.
