Hey guys the last time most of you saw my car it looked like this:

p1354915_2.jpg

This was at TX2K9 when my motor blew up. I worked my ass off to get it ready to go and have a great event. I almost sold it and parted it out. But the kind words and support from YotaRob, Trent, Dok33 and the rest of you guys made me keep it.

This is how the car sits as of right now Tuesday morning 6/30/09 in my garage waiting to get my bottom end on Thursday:
All dirty and not washed. If you look on the wind sheild you will notice the the markings still on from TX2K9 in March.

I have cleaned the engine bay so far, with a pressure washer and lots of elbow grease still have some more work to do but this will do for now:

I started working on my oil pan getting the pain off of it to repaint silver and noticed a dent in it:

I was going to use this other pan that I have and the inside of the pan looks pretty bad which one should I use? I just didn't want anything to happen to my freshly rebuilt motor.

I say either take the dirty pan to the machine shop and have them hot tank it....or take the dented pan to a local body shop and see if they can pull the dent without drilling (welded stud and slide hammer).

Or even better, have a pan modified to hold 3 more quarts of oil and better baffels!

I would love to modify my pan just don't have the funds right now. Is there something that I can do to clean it? I planned on stripping the paint off of it as well. I'll see about taking it to a shop tomorrow.

Well There wasn't all that much that I could do today with out my motor yet. So I just stripped and painted my oil pan and some other parts. Also got my Zeitronix wide band today with my 3.5 bar map sensor too!!!

I didn't have the time or money to have the parts powder coated so I just stripped everything then primered, painted, then clear coated.

Some samco hoses, Koyo rad, Tial Q BOV,

Here are some pics:

Going to pick up my motor today!!! I thought that I wasn't going to be able to do this until tomorrow.

How many of you wanna bet that I have it running by tomorrow night?

All I have to do is wire my Zeitronix up and injector clips and that is all the wiring mess I have to do. Other than that everything else is just bolted up.

Well I got most of the motor put together and all the injector clips soldered. Now just have to wire in the Zeitronix. Have to go to the store and get some more wire to extend the Zeitronix harness, get an adapter from serial to usb, have my wide band bung all welded up, pick up my timing belt, and all the oils and filters I'm going to need.

Well I got the motor in the car, tranny and driveshaft bolted up, exhaust bolted up, and most of the harness is plugged up. My slave cylinder is broken though, one of the ears that holds it on broke, getting new one!

I think that I should have it all done today! I'll post up some pics later today.

Good to hear you didnt sell your car man. Hey did you have your rotating assembly balanced? Im goin with a eagle rod probe piston combo and was wondering if i needed to balance the rotating assembly. Aiming for 500rwhp daily and 600rwhp with race gas etc through a master power t67. Keep us posted :) Subscribed

Well guys, got the motor in and started right up. But a few issues that I have encountered, my speedo doesn't seem to want to work, my Zeitronix gauges doesn't work and my car isn't running correctly.

It was running pretty good but I all of a sudden the car started sputtering like I had a boost leak. I noticed that it was the tps sensor not connected. I pulled the EFI fuse, reconnected the TPS sensor and started up but the problem was still there. I just continued to drive it because I had to get home. It was not fun. But all of a sudden it started working again and was able to boost. I was like WTF!!! It was strange but worked so I just got home and parked it.

Tomorrow I'll be changing the oil in the morning and checking my Zeitronix to see why it doesn't work.
