Just like the title says!! I'm getting some ET streets for the rear and want to know what you guys are doing for the fronts since it's not a good Idea to mix biasply and radials. I'm open to all suggestions.

I see a lot of people also run a wheel like 15x4 with a small radial tire as well,

What are your guys' thoughts on this.

Thanks

The MT sportsman fronts are nice since you can put street miles on them if you desire. If you want some track-only skinnys, then any of them are good. Moroso, Hoosier, Goodyear...they're all basically the same construction.

What kind of wheels should I get for the fronts? I'd like to get something that isn't too domesticish! My wheels are black with polished lip. for the backs and my regular wheels are the same as well.

I found some 15x7 wheels that would match but I think that would be too wide.

Yeah those are too wide. You want something in the 15x4 range. theres not a huge selection of skinnys, though. Check out Weld, CenterLine, Bogart...see what you like....

Sean, yes you can. You can do radials in the back and bias-ply up front. Its the bias-ply in the rear and radials up front that is not recommended.

I run M&H tires (just arrived today) and the new Bogart skinnies that Mike N got going. They should be here within the next couple of weeks and fit over big brakes. :)

LOL, it's Mike's car. The guy that got the wheels made and worked with Bogart. These are the wheels I'm getting. ;)

What where the prices on those wheels if you don't mind. I glanced at the thread over on SF, but I'm never on there. PM me if you would.

Thanks

That is what I'm getting, they are 16x9 Volk racing wheels with some 28x11.5x16 ET Streets. Why not just get some bias ply tires since you want something that big, and get more traction??? The radials are nice where you can drive them on the street, but at the track they don't hook up quite as good as the bias plys do. Unless you're going to run on the street alot.
