Front lip choice? (pre89)

The stock lip on my car is getting warped and I've been looking into he aftermarket ones, but all the pictures I've seen have been on 89+ cars.

I really like the Spec-H on suprasport

but think it might look odd on a pre89.

Any have any suggestions?

type 2 and spec g on supra sport are the only 2 for the pre89. get a 89+ bumper and you have more to choose from.

that would be a home depot special and not a actual lip. check his build thread. most of the lips are made for 89+ as most people have 89+ or have switched to the 89+ bumper.

you can fit an 89+ lip on a pre 89, but it needs to be one that sits below the bumper like a bomex lip, and not one that goes into the creases, like a hiro lip..

it wont' fit great, and it'll stick out in a few places, but it's "liveable"...

This is just my opinion, and I think its just as pointless as The WRX weather stripping front lip I read about on other forums.

At the end of the day, its a Supra, treat it as such.

people like to do the weather stripping under their $XXX lip which looks nice

Spoke to Ken@Shine about 87 fitment, I think I will do the Type II its a simple under bumper addition. from the looks of it, it doesnt come up around the top into the fog light holes.
