I just wondering if Toyota ever put the 86-88 MKiii front bumper on any of the 90-92 Mkiii? I ask because I have been looking for another mkiii to play with and have recently gone to see a 91 and 92 that were for sale (Sold now.) Both supra's were legit, the VIN numbers matched and the 92 was actually the original owner and he claimed that he had never changed the bumpers. Yet both supra's front bumpers were the 86-88 Mkiii front bumper. Both were Turbo Automatic's. Are they for real or are they trying to pull a fast one?

from my parts catalog here in my toyota parts dept i show a difference between the two and dont believe it is true. i may be wrong and ill stand corrected if proven wrong. 89+'s never came with 89- front cover
