fresh rebuild car wont start

Ok guys I cant figure this on out I did a full rebuild new nprs reconditioned rods titan 1.4 mm gasket new valve stem seals all that good stuff. Put the motor in the other day took the efi 15 amp out cracked it a butch to get some oil flowing with the plugs out. Hooked all that back up with new ngk coopers. When to start it and it sputters a bit like it wants to start and the it makes this loud sqicking sound by the exhaust manni gasket not sure what it is. Sounds like cylinder pressure is coming out of the exhaust manni like a valve is stuck open. I compression checked it today all 125 to 130 psi block has 0 miles on it so rings are not seated yet. If anyone could point me in the problem solving direction that would be nice.

Checked timing? Everything at 0, TDC?

yes sir checked timing 3 times and made sure the cps was spot on.

Cam gears on the center dowel pin hole?

If you have compression but sounds like compression escaping the cylinder, you got a timing issue.

Agreed. Check mechanical timing, check for spark and fuel

Ok cool I did have to make a dowl pin when I installed it I may have put it in the wrong hole ill check when I get off work.

Are you typing with a baseball mitt?

A rebuilt/new engine needs to crank fast for a bit to build cylinder pressure and start. If you have compression leaking out the side of the head somewhere, it probably isn't going to start.
