Well the other place I went to was XAT Racing. One of the guys that works there owns a 89 1jz supra. He said that XAT Racing supplying me the engine and doing the swap would cost 6500 bucks. It seems to me like that is wayyyyy too much money considering what people have told me but I dont know. When I first walked into that place I got one of those good feelings, I didnt get that at Driven Concepts. I dunno. Feel free to comment.

My 1jz clip cost me 3200.00 shipped so 6500 isn't exactly a ripoff. You don't have to do anything but drop the car off and then pick it up. That's definately worth 3300.00 if you can afford it. It's not that difficult a swap if you're mechanically inclined though.

it costs bout 4500-4700 to swap a 1jz motor down here into a supra from C&N Performance out of Hallandale Beach FL. 2k for labor including extending the harness and droping the motor in and 2500-2700 for the motor.

If you want to know how much it would cost you to get a running 2JZ Supra, I would PM a member that has done it already.

PM ME :p i can give a detailed list.... onejoezee is right on about those prices listed as well and i had to buy most minus the ignitor and map sensor. and i am paying a bit more for the harness but its with a digital-> analog tach signal converter

I can have this done for you in 2 days. You bring your car on a Friday night Sunday morning you'll be driving it home with your 1j. Maybe even Saturday night.
PM me and I'll give you detail of where to go. I'll send you to the one who works on my car.

I am in the proccess of 2jzgte swap since one month...

Unfortunatelly...I ordered 2jzgte from a supra jza80 and it came
from the Aristo car :icon_mad: :icon_mad:
I paid 3000 euros for that...Yes guys,yes...Way to much,but even if
I got it from states,it'll still be in that range! At least I got everything.
(complete engine,turbos ,intake,hoses,igniter,fuse box,starter,accesorries
belt,hydro pump hoses,engine wiring,ecu,down pipe,a bellhousing that
must be from the Aristo's auto transmission, and ofcaurse nothing damaged,
hydro radiator...even the engine oil wasn't drained out !
And the guy told me that before cuting the car in Japan, they drove it
over there and they tested the engine....:sarcasm:
He told me that the engine has about 70.000 miles :icon_surp

I have spend on original toyota parts (water pump, coupling, pulley
fan, rear oil pan lower & upper, oil pan bufflle, oil strainer,gaskets,8 bolts for the aftermarket flywheel, steering pump canister,1jz bellhousing etc.) about 2000 euros.

I also bought new toyota parts like...belts,plugs,thermostat,soolant hoses
(lower radiator hose),crank sealant,camshaft sealant,rear crank sealant,
some gaskets,engine oil,coolant,steering pump oil, etc.,for about 500 euros

Last I bought from...the states an aftermarket flywheel (Aristo 2jzgte engine
came only with auto trans) and a nice short throw shifter ...for 400 euros

I think that I will also need some 500 euros for a custom down pipe and
custom intercooler pipes and last for an HKS BOV type II racing :icon_bigg

I will also pay my machanic friend 1000 euros for his servises, while we both
going to wire the engine's harness into the mk3 body...
Maybe within a month or two it will be rolling ! Hope so:sarcasm:

Touche good sir. The 6500 was for the 2jz engine with the swap into my MK3. I dunno if thats a great price but it seems decent. I would have to find my own r154 though so that would bring it up to about 7000 total I believe

shit, if i could have payed 6500 for a 2jz swap, i would have done that over spending 3500 on my 1j swap with doing the work myself
