Yeah i changed the plugs on an explorer a couple weeks ago. Huge PITA. Working on fords is not something i ever look forward to

I run the same interval but I use 10-30 Valvoline Maxlife oil. I was thinking about switching to Mobil 1 10-30 because i used it in my 95 Z-28 and 95 Trans Am and loved it. I ran the dog crap out of those cars though (much younger at the time) compared to my paw paw driving I do now.
I gotta say, whoever thought it was a good idea to stuff the engine under the windshield in the LS1 F-bodies was a real ass. Was NOT a fan of trying to work on the SS when I had it...

Only reason those cars handled as well as they did. But yep, total nightmare to work on (hell, 3rd gens and the LT1 4th gens were just as bad)

Mike, we have a customer with a 5.4 with 296,xxx and just a few miles ago, they started to lose coolant. Compression check came back fine. We pulled the intake and changed the gaskets and that solved the problem. It was smudged when we took it out, so that might be the problem.
