Like most problems it CAN be solved by copius amounts of $$$, there's a HUGE aftermarket for the 9" so parts are really cheap and this offset's the custom parts needed to make it work.

yes, but we are in the good ole usa. lol. there are tons of parts for the 8.8 as well. lol. check out www.summitracing.com for starters. and then the 4x4 shops have even more selections usually.

LMAO don't know about "best" as supplied it was a pileOshit and you couldn't turn corners without it skipping an inside wheel and clanking/crashing!
(mine has the preload pack to prevent it losing drive if you lift a wheel)

vette rear would prob work with out or not much more work then putting in an 8.8

Vette rears are weak. A stock mk3 rear is stronger. Not to mention the rear is also part of the transmission.

i just like the idea of the 8.8 already being irs, and theres alot of aftermarket support for it. i still dont know if im gonna get one or not.
