This is the kit i'm going to get when I ever get going on my 2jz project. But I dont think i'm going to run that turbo.

IIRC, all marks kits come with a t61 or equivalent, and i havent seen anything negative on cna-t about them.

How is being a complete hypocrite working out for you these days?

Any turbo made by: Garrett, Turbonetics, Precision, HKS, etc. No "Master Power, or T6x special ebay units.

etrash. Get something thats not a converted car radiator.

Not everything can be diamonds, but if your putting effort into a turbo upgrade, why get a shitty turbo and waste $$?

If you take the turbo out, there isn't more then $800 worth of stuff in that kit, and that's not a $500 turbo.

I wasn't gonna say it but I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed.:biglaugh:

The funniest part will be the cop-out excuse he comes up with to cover his ass. ;)

I bet Ric is a not a bad guy in person. There's just some weird agenda behind most of what he posts that is almost impossible to figure out, because it seems to vary on a daily basis. If he wasn't so outspoken against ebay items, it wouldn't be so bad when he tries to help somebody sell them. The turbo kit honestly doesn't look bad, it's the least expensive kit that's fairly complete. The turbo can be re-balanced and upgraded to a 360deg thrust bearing, and you end up with a fairly decent setup for under $1600. The mistake some people make is thinking that that kit is just going to bolt right up with just a socket set and a screw driver.

RIC for the record Master power isnt a shitty chinese ebay turbo, they are manufacturered in Brazil with 100% garret internals.they just make their own spec compressor and exhuast housings. same thing with precision turbos. garret internals but their own housings.

Dang, if I would have saw that kit I would have saved at least 6k on my 2J swap. Why did I ever get rid of my 1J. All that is needed to complete this kit is a Texas Instruments solar powered ECU with a built in calculator. I would have been all over this quality setup
