That right there is pure, boner-inducing, automotive porn. I had no idea what those cars went for when sold, and frankly, $650k is surprisingly high. Luckily for me, I already own a 2000GT. In GT5. Close as I'll ever get without winning the Lotto.

and this is what forza is for...7m, 1j, 2j, 1u swaps are just a button press away...drifting anyone???
infact, i think im gonna go build one right now maybe even awd for laughs.

This is possibly my ONE point that I can't argue in the GT5 vs. Forza debate, I'm a little jealous of the Forza guys for that. Not jealous enough to drop $300, but motor swaps are so common these days it's a no-brainer to put that in a game.

And IJ, back to my 2j swap theory, an LSx would snap the car in half even sooner. Knowing you though, you'd find a way around that, so... pony up man! Or just CNC one? ;)

M-bay, cali
This is the red one that you guys from Cali have seen. Its owned by the Salinas Toyota dealerships family. I went in for parts (usually go to one in Monterey) saw it and fucking had the deer-in-headlights look. :eek3:......:eek3dance:......:yumyum:.....:boink:

Better swap: 3M in a mk4. Make SF cry... :biglaugh:
I still have every intention of putting a well sorted 7m in one, for that very purpose. Could be a while though...

They had an M bottom end? I had no idea.
Indeed they did, that motor went back a LONG way. Started in the Crown if I'm not mistaken, but the 2000gt variant was much more powerful than the other M engines of the day.
