For those with aftermarket seats

I sold my stock front seats and now I'm faced with a little problem. I have no seatbelt receivers in the middle... What have you guys done besides harnesses. I will put harnesses in down the road, but for now I just want to use the stock belts. :1zhelp:

ive heard some people use stock mr2 receivers bolted in. find a few in the junkyard and start wrenching!

I think all Toyota from the same era use the same belt. Go to junkyard get some, Shouldn't be expensive.

So these recievers bolt to the transmission tunnel rather then the seat I'm assuming? I've been thinking about just this problem myself.

yup,they bolt right in. there is a bolt hole there already,like Mr.Toyota knew we would do this. ifyou can't find a pair in decent condition,a toyo dealer might have a brand new pair at a decent price.
