Nope, they claim that they never had them to begin with, yet I have a receipt & we test fitted them when I took the motor in.

It's not so much the cost of replacing them, it's the week & a half delay.....

jesus christ i'd raise some hell. I know you sure did.

LOL, no doubt I did. The machine shop was recommended to me by a friend years ago. The friend races the dirt tracks circuit & he told me that his machine work is top notch. I had a 4 Bolt 351 Cleveland built by him a few years ago & my friend was right, his work is top notch.

After buying my Supra, I had the head rebuilt by the same machine shop while repairing a BHG. Again, great work, so when it came time for my build there was no question that I was going to turn it over to him. Well, for one reason or another, there has been delay after delay & now it's been 6 months & 2 days since I paid him for the work.

I did stop by his place a few weeks ago to look at the progress & I'm still impressed with his work. Well, the deck of the block looked like a mirror....

According to the tracking number for my ARP hardware, it will be here tomorrow & the machinist said he would start work on it as soon as he gets them. Maybe this weekend, but after getting kicked in the nuts a couple of times, my hopes are being held low until I get the motor to my house.

I don't have a pic yet, but I did something similar to the adapter.
I used three 3/8" T4 flanges, and slid then forward and twisted them out sort of like you would a deck of cards to move the turbo where I wanted.

Had to port the crap out of the "adapter" to get it smooth, but I like the way it turned out.

I would not reccomend this unless you have the right taps, a welder and a good die grinder and carbide bit.

It moved my T70 Master Power forward, and I turned it so the compressor housing is angled towards the snokle hole somewhat. It makes it line up with where I'm routing the lower IC pipe, and being moved forward allows for more space on the DP side of things. (A problem with this manifold design.)

I'm adding braces now, and then I'll coat the entire thing, DP and WG etc. It looks like with the 4" inlet, I will not be able to route the CAI like before, so I either build a cold air box, or just run without one for now. I'd still like to run the filter under the headlight, but only a 3" pipe fits there at the moment. I may end up cutting out the entire right side core support baffle, and add some strap material there to keep it strong, yet make room for the pipes going in and out. The washer filler tube is in the way. I wonder how hard it would be to shorten it? (I'd have to get a funnel to fill the washer, but that's fine since I carry one around to add Toulene anyway.)
