I know a few of you have them. I'm interested in:

1. has anyone dyno tested one
2. hows it feel compared to others if you've had any
3. any vids of it?
4. How's it sound over stock or other upgraded trims or even other turbos you've heard.?

Thanks.

All of the video's with the Black MK2 , drifting or drag racing , has this turbo on it.

i didn't port the waste gate, and im having problems keeping it from over boosting, well.

i dont have my boost controler on, and running on the stock waste gate, she'll hold 7psi till about 4.5k and after that jump to 10-12, then by 5.5 im nailing 17-20 psi.

i didn't realize i had this problem till i dynoed last week.

i didn't post nothing major since im unhappy with the numbers.

i had a stock pump in the car and should have swapped out the pump before i went.

i made 335whp,333ftlbs
the run's say max boost of 17psi, but i didn't make any more power after 10psi since it was leaning out.

that and the CEL is on since the ecu temp sensor broke a wire, so it could affect power.

the reason i said i wasn't happy cause i only made 10whp and 20ftlbs of torque more then the stock turbo at 12psi witch is about where this set up started running lean.

i have the walbro in tank now, and will dyno this week or in a few weeks @ supra nationals. so hopefully i'll be proud of those numbers.

^thanks for the info, keep us posted. I knew you had one from MDC, was wondering why you hadn't posted anything up yet.

I especially like the vid of you losing control and suddenly turn the winsheild wipers on :biglaugh:

BTW, that's some crazy boost spike there to be on stock WG, get that under control :icon_bigg

^lmao, how are you going to port it and what are you going to use to plug it?

im gona port it with a special bit, i wanna say it's carbined, but i might be wrong, i know it's worked on every thing else i've attacked it with, aluminum clog's it a bit so does plastic..

im gona weld it.. how else would you fix a whole in exhuast pipe?

I used to have one from Majestic, holds 22psi well for 2 years than the GTE had rod knock and I sold it.

if majestic has had the New Garret GT wheel for over two year's , jon has some explaing to do......

and 22psi doesn't say much. power is made by flow, and i've achived some dam good power under 1 Bar.
