They're a Class 6 felony here in my state. It's called "criminal damage". And I'm sure it's a crime in many other states. Can't really have the citizens go around destroying, defacing, damaging or tampering with the property of another person so as substantially to impair its function or value;

And to the dude who said he has threatened people with a shotgun, be prepared for someone to defend himself one day and shoot you first. Let alone it's a serious felony (aggravated assualt), and you could do time in the slammer.

So OP, file a written complaint with your local Police Department, and lawyer up, like i said earlier.

Here's my take: The cops probably told you not to report because, as most Judges (and juries) would likely see it, you got kicked out for being a bar drunk. Any person that's been to a bar has seen it happen at least once, the drunkest guy gets too rowdy and gets tossed for not paying attention when asked to leave. So you and your lawyer will have to absolutely prove that you were completely calm, cooperative, manhandled (meaning marks) and fully aware...while in a bar...drinking shots. That sounds like an uphill battle to me, especially since the defending lawyer won't have to work hard to build up a case, given you were drinking.

So if you're gonna go after them, make sure your case is airtight, and hopefully you have lots of character witnesses who've witnessed you drunk on multiple occasions.

Moronic thead

ALL of the illegal activities recommended are against the SM rules you guys accepted to be a member here.

The very next instance of this sort of stupidity WILL result in bans.

(Please note that ILLEGAL acts, regardless of location will not be tolerated. Threatening people on a forum is a crime. Remember this.)

I'm a bouncer at a bar.

we NEVER throw out a patron unless they are causing problems.

I would go talk to the head of security or the bouncers who threw you out on a non busy night and ask them what happened.

Bouncers get sued ALL the time. Trust me I do everyting I can do to avoid a confrontation.

You've never been to the morgantown club scene.....its retarded :3d_frown:

The only thing i really wanted to do is file a report, i don't care about sueing or anything (unless i had perm damage), its just hard to do if none of the damn cops care to report it:nono:.

Personally i just don't get why bouncers can't at least attempt to ask nicely (given if theres a fight you can't...). What to do you expect when you forcefully remove someone.....not to mention a drunk person....you get resistnace back. 99.9% of people readily respond to mannerly requests at clubs/parties in my experience but the instant hostility is present its all over.

I've done the hollywood club scene and the LA scene. Im sure yours isnt different enough to make a difference. a lawsuit is a lawsuit, no resturant wants one.

trust me, we want to. Do you think I want to throw someone out when they are a paying customer? then i have to deal with them trying to fight me, and it looks bad for the club. 100 percent of the time we would rather ask "whats going on here" then put someone in a half nelson and walk them out the door.
