can a clogged fuel filter or two from shilaqued(sp?) gas cause lack of full boost as well as lack of ability to rev above 4k? also hesitation throughout all gears and powerband, and it actually sounds like its bogging down when i put my foot all the way into it... just made the car ingest some fuel system cleaner as well

no there life time filters.

Usually the sock on the fuel pump will grab most bits in the tank if there are any. The filters, from what I've seen, tend to stay pretty clean.

Of course, there are instances where they need to be changed.

then why would i be experiencing those problems? i doubt it would be my injectors, although is that really a possibility?
