my convertor is bad per torquefreaks and im doing a 5spd swap soon(i keep saying this) so that may be the problem, but to check for ECT codes just take OD off and watch for it to blink?
-and by bad i mean they said it was slipping bad and robbing me power

-i let it warm up for a while becuase if i dont it will sputter, stall, and the tranny wont shift very well at all

89Turbo- The resistor for the egr valve temp sensor that I am using is a 12k resistor. It got rid of the code 71 I had when I bought the car (CEL also). Don't know if it will cause any problems down the road or with mods ( I am still stock) but it's been working for me. I believe JetJock would be the one to ask if you were worried about it.
