foglight rewire killed my high beams

:icon_conf i did my foglight rewire.. but everytime i would turn on my highbeams the inline fuse i put in for the foglight rewire would blow...then all of a sudden my highbeams stopped working altogether. but the fuse still blows when i accidently turn the highbeams on... which dont work. anyone have any idea??? why????

How did you hook it up? You should just make it independant. Hook up a fused constant from the battery and switch the ground.

Do you have them sharing a power source or something?

You could also have a relay switch on with ACC so even if you leave them on they shut off with the car.

I dunna just a thought.

You do realise the wiring from the switch is the - side?
