(going back to the fog light question) is there a forum or place that I can go to to figure out how to do a fog light rewire? Unless it's on this forum and I'm too blind to see it.

So what are you guys wiring your fog lights to? I'm sure I could rig something up, but with as clean as your cars look, I'm guessing you did it in a very professional manner.
You just rewire it and use the same switch its not hard.

You know- I've had my '88 for 15 yrs now, and never gotten around to doing the rewire.
I just read through it, and am a bit confused; why do we have to cut and splice 3 different wires? I'm thinking that the relay is triggered by the lowbeam circuit, and therefore drops off when headlights are off, or when highbeams are activated.
So why can't we just trigger the relay by replacing the lowbeam signal with one from the parking light signal? Am I being over-simplistic? Has everyone who's done this mod followed the techtip method verbatim, or is there a simpler way?

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. The first link to instructions in this thread doesn't specify a year, and it took me a minute to realize that it wasn't correct for my 87'.
