Fog Light Problem

You need to wire it so the switch completes the circuit on the relay. From Toyota, they run the power from the headlamps and ground from the switch. Move those. I would draw it out, but my printer is not here.

I don't remember if the cygnus site is for 89 or 90. My 91 grounds the fog light relay through the headlight switch. If your 90 is the same as 91, then the online manual is no help.

No. You have parking lights already. I think johnthaon1 was doing the same thing, or something similar. You need diodes to direct the current one way when you start splicing.

Yes, I wanted do this as well...but I never got around to it.

If you plan on rewiring the car to your liking, at the very least you need the factory electrical wiring diagram for your year.

And somebody that knows how to do electrical work.

all i simply wanted to do was to get my fog lights working again. now it's become some big ordeal. Jeez. Anyone else can chime in here w/ regards to foglight re-wire with High beam only HIDs

the cygnus is for the 90. But the harness looks different from IdealSupra pics.
