I was driving to work today going about 70mph and noticed something from the corner of my eye, MY HEATER GAUGE JUMPED WELL OVER HALF WAY. So I kinda paniked and started to slow down to check the problem when I hear a loud BANG from the bay. So Im at my exit (This all happened in less than 3 min) and tried gluiding through it till I get off the highway. Nope, my cars steering stuck? randomly and I couldnt turn my wheels. Luckly there was only a grassey median ahead and I managed to stop the car. I check the engine expecting the worst, and I noticed a nice hole in my radiator. So that explained the heating problem but didnt explain the tire problem. I got mad and kicked my tires got back in and decided fuck it Im going to make these wheels turn, as Im about to go Incredible hulk on the steering wheel I grab it and the fucking thing moves like it never was stuck....Needless to say I was pissed.

So here are my problems:
Need new rad
Need to find out why my steering is sticking (b4 I kill myself)
And my oil pressure dropped from 32psi to about 20psi when the rad broke. So I need to figure out what happened to my oil pressure.:3d_frown:

Any ideas on what may have happened or anything is appreciated. Thanks

could you have run over something that jammed/bent some of the steering components and bounced into the radiator?

Anything is possible. As for the radiator "popping", it was only a matter of time. I kinda had a feeling it was going to break eventually, due to a tiny pin hole on the seal around the top.

did you check your oil level?

unless something jammed your steering or you rack siezed there's nothing really there to stop your steering.

Oil pressure and levels are good. The only thing that I didnt check, (and it just dawned on me) was the power steering fluid. Ill go check that. lol

Did u panic and turn the car off when it was hot? if so you could of locked your steering wheel depending on what position your key is in.

:withstupi

Sometimes I turn off my car and roll to my parking space just for fun... just have to remember that your steering locks when you turn that key to ACC
