No, they are not the same. Actually, as far as I know, the W series transmission doesn't have any at all.

He's talking about the plate that covers the pressure plate. Without this plate if you are looking from the oil pan back towards the tranny you will see a half moon of the pressure plate. Hope that helps

Yep, I know what he's looking for, and the EPC doesn't show one. The R154 one specificly states R154 in it's name and is only applicable for years with turbo models...

the w58 definitely has one, i had to deal with it when rebuilding my engine. never seen or compared an r154 with mine though.

Interesting... dug a bit deeper and it looks like it's the same part for both W58 and R154.

Doesn't surprise me as the front of the bellhousing can't be any different considering it's bolting up to the same block...
