well I think i'm going to weld the exhaust i bought from 935:evil2: on this weekend and I have access to a fluxcore welder but i have never welded a day in my life:1zhelp: lol alwasys wanted to learn but never could get any one to teach me so i guess i'm going to learn this weekend. So does any body have and advise or pointers for me? Is all mild steel pipe any kind of setting i should try?:

Um, I would say don't do it. Take it to an exhaust shop and have them install it. Then go behind the exhaust shop and pull some scrap pieces out of the dumpster and practice until you have it down. It's going to take some time to make welds nice enough to put on your own car. 
whats the worst that could happen lol burn a hole in a pipe than have to have a exhaust shop fix it?
No, booger welds that look terrible, leak, and have to be cut off :biglaugh: For your first welding project don't weld something that you had to pay for. :icon_wink
I was going to practice on some old exhaust piping i have laying around first lol I wasn't going to start on the good shit lol
It's not all that hard to learn, just takes practice. Get an auto darkening helmet and some welding gloves and go for it!
thats the plan already got the helmet at the shop but i do need gloves. If i find out theres no chance in hell of me being able to do it i will pay the monroe up the road to do it
