Well I'm not exactly sure if its turbo flutter but i'm guessing so. I'm new to turbo cars . When i engage the clutch in to 1st from a stop. Sometimes it gives a fluttering noise. Just wondering if this is normal, and if infact it is coming from the turbo or not.

Thanks

Chris

you mean after you up to speed in first and clutching to second? or stopped clutching to engage first?

Im guessing you mean stopped clutching to shift into first while being stopped the whole time. thats not normal, sound like a throw out bearing to me.

Just when you are at a stop? Hmmm i am with him on the pilot or throwout bearing

But if you are driving and every time you press the clutch it make the flutter then it sounds like its time to replace the bov ..... the fluttering in that case is compressor surge search on youtube for a video

The sound only happens when i'm engaging 1st from a stop. Nothing in between shifts, bov works fine. It only happens when i am in the process of engaging 1st from a stop.
