Fluid recommendations?

I've searched but didn't find a thread on this. The rebuilt engine is in and running. Installed new calipers, rotors and ss lines. I need to start putting fluids in. What do any of you recommend for brake and power steering fluid?

Overpriced, but yes, DOT4 is good stuff. For power steering you do NOT use power steering fluid, you use ATF.

Really? I'm not disputing you, but this is the first I've heard of doing this. Could you explain why you'd do that? And which ATF is supposed to be used?

toyota specs says to use ATF, it says right on the resi cap too. the rack must need an additive thats in ATF but not in PS fluid.

hes correct. it does say it right on my gte ps resv cap. use atf
