No, not cop lights.

Ive seen new housing developments and apartment complexs around having these seriously visible blue an dred flashing lights. They arent really bright but you can see them very clearly from miles away. They flash blue/red pretty quickly too. They are on pretty high up poles as well.

What the hell are they for? I was thinking maybe to show cops, firefighters, whatever the main entry ways for these complexs?

Its not to advertise, just not that type of flashing light really and one complex is over a year old now. There is an airport near by but no way it could be for that. Were talking 2 story houses, no thing to threaten a plane. The lights arent on That tall of a pole either, 12ft maybe.

Ill have to try and get video, its really odd. They just flash non stop night or day. They arent bright per say, just visible if that makes sense? You can see them from dam far away just like new cop car lights.

they're all over downtown Indy, I dunno if it's cameras, and they're there to remind you or what...

I was thinking some kind of night vision? Or could it just be a 'hey this area is under surveillance' warning lights? Usually a warning has to be obvious not something that makes no sense like flashing lights on a pole lol.

probably to scare people. If ya see red and blue lights coming from random directions or up ahead your less likely to speed or go fuck shit up.

are these residences upper class?

If your trying to sneak around a neighborhood and you see red and blue lights everywhere your probably more likely to go somewhere else.

Thats my geuss, i've seen people put strobes in their windows to deter burglars.

Not upper class at all, just normal average housing areas. I cant imagine living in a house right next to those lights. How bad would that suck having red and blue flashing in your window 24 hours a day.
