fitting a holset hx35

well i have a lexus sc400 maf, 550cc injectors and a safc. i am going to be buying a holset hx35 form a friend, and i was wondering what parts i need to get it to work on my car. and if anyone could give me a website it would be very helpful.

Careful with that. Most hx35's are t3 flanged. Also, you'll never control the Holset with an internal wastegate. External wastegate is mandatory. Also, you'll need oil lines, and a power steering relocation kit.

Don't exactly know about the oil feed/return, but you'll need a water bypass hose for your cooling system if the turbo is only oil cooled.

-4 AN feed and at least -10 AN drain.

If you cant make a flange for the DP there is a guy on ebay who makes one that will block off the internal wastegate. Cutting of the little bracket for the internal wastegate would be a good idea also. A while back I made an adapter flange for my holset setup and never fnished it or used it. It needs the wastegate flange welded on.

Hey im doing an HY35 build on my supra and so far i have:

1. turbo and weld wastegate flapper shut.
2. T4 manifold , i chose the ssautochrome cause it looks like the t4 flange is angled.
3. T3-t4 adapter, ther are the flat ones and the riser ones
4. -4 feed and -10 drain oil lines and you MIGHT need a restrictor for the feed line, some people have blown turbo seals cuase of too much oil pressure.
5. The intake on the turbo is 4 inches and the lex maf sensor is about 3inches so you might wanna buy Drift motion 4 inch intake then a reducer were the intake meets the lex afm. Dont forget the vacume line for the power steering valve that is located under the accordion hose.
6. Since most of the t4 manifold come flanged for a 50mm you need to buy a 50mm hks replica, again Aaron at Driftmotion.com can help you with most of the things you need. He sells the water bypass line, oil lines and has the t4 manifolds, wastegate, 4inch intake etc. Again aaron sells a kit that comes with 4in intake, 3inch universal downpipe, and the dump tube for the 50mm wastegate.
7. Adapt the turbo to the current intercooler set up you migh have.

I might be missin some stuff im pretty sure some one will fill in the blanks good luck.
